I was born in the States, but have always felt the pull of my Russian origins. This kind of vague and nostalgic belonging leaves plenty of room for interpretation, so my version of Russia is mostly fantasy.
There are cups for vodka, of course, and glazing effects that ressemble ice melting on snow.
As a tribute to Fabergé eggs, I decided to incorporate metal, resin and stone into adornments I make myself, using techniques I learned with a jeweler.
